I've always had boring desktops, nothing fancy

 

i just got this theme, i think i might go back to using the classic theme after this one.

 

this is my desktop now. the orange thing in the tray isn't ewido, it's my new radio

 

I really liked the XP theme. Once a month I make a wallpaper with an Alaska photo and the month's calendar. I don't like bunches if icons on my desktop.

These are some very interesting themes - where did you guys come up with these? Are there some particular sites that you can recommend going to....to check out some of the cooler designs?

The toolbar on the side (ObjectDock by Stardock) autohides, so everything stays pretty clean

 

Been and enjoying watching what you folks are coming up with................lots of fun.....These Stardocks have been getting better over the years........i have stayed away from the program, as i believe that once upon a time i had read there was intergrated spyware......or maybe some other issue..........could someone please set this straight .......must be O.K. or can be made O.K. with a tweak or two, otherwise you people would not be using it

 

I think you're thinking of StyleXP by TGT Soft.. it's actually the themes on the site they link to that bundle adware, rather than the program itself. Stardock's Windowblinds has gotten MUCH better in the last couple versions. The latest version (4.51) is the first one that I've never had any problems with. Better performance (due to hardware accelleration), better UI, better themes, and for the same price.. I recommend it above StyleXP any day
