Thanks for the info Brad. I bet that would be a good filter to use on a colorful tidepool...

Okay here comes version 2.0 of my castle

that's exactly what I'm looking for - thanks! / *edit -maybe not as it looks like you still have to "paint" on each aspect.

Afraid that's probably all you will get with apps like that... :doubt: I can't really see that you would get a 'one-click' application.... It would be fairly difficult to assign colours based on tones of grey?? Anyway, I'll keep my eye out for you!
    Cheers,
    Brad.

Hands! Notice it's tough to keep a castle in one piece in the Bay?? Interesting effect...have a name?

This is a Japanese Castle made with Terregen.....added the lady and the frame with LatticeMaker.

Another castle, with lots of Flaming Pear color effects, relief, tubes of the swanboat, cat, fairy, and the two wizards....oh, the hat that used to be on the top of another wizard before this, "Spell Gone Wrong" happened. :D

Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

THIS IS A FAMOUS CASTLE IN DEATH VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, CALLED 'SCOTTY'S CASTLE'. SOME OLD MINER GUY BUILT IT FOR HIMSELF, AND IT TURNED INTO A HIDEWAY FOR MOVIE STARS FOR AWHILE - NOW THEY HOLD PRO GOLF TOURNAMENTS AND LOTS OF TOURISTS USE THE HOT SPRINGS........IT'S NOT REALLY THAT HOT UNTIL SUMMER THEN IT CAN GET TO 120FPLUS ....I WILL JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES, THAT'S HOT ENOUGH FOR ME!

I USED A GLASS MOSAIC EFFECT, ALSO A FLAMING PEAR'S ANAPHILIPTIC (SP) FLIP, A SUNSET EFFECT FOR THE SMOOTH 3D FRAME.....THEN I HAD TO COMPRESS IT CUZ PHOTOFILTRE WON'T LEAVE YA ALONE.....SO I PUT IT TO 60% AND HATE WHAT IT DID TO THE PIC!!

(IT SEEMS TO HAVE COMPRESSED IRREGULARLY - MAKING IT UN CLEAR THIS IS GLASS MOSAIC - TO ME.)

SO, MAYBE IT DEPENDS ON THE EFFECTS YOU USE WHETHER YOU SHOULD LESSEN THE COMPRESSION?? ANYWAY, WISH I WOULD HAVE LEFT THIS ONE ALONE! LOL!

IT'S SCOTTY'S CASTLE IN DEATH VALLEY......

Hmmm...I don't think it's the compression for it is scarcely noticeable in
most cases. For instance, these pictures have been saved differently as a test. One is compressed to 20% and the other to 95% (both with Photofiltre).
One of them is 26.0 kb and the other is 82.3 kb. Can you tell the difference? o_O
Normally, the difference matters when you print it, otherwise it is so...tiny

OK, SO I FOUND ANOTHER CASTLE! :D

THIS ONE WAS PART OF ANOTHER PIC AND WAY OFF CENTER SO I HAD TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO USE IT. HOPE IT WORKED, IT'S THE WIZARDESS TELLING THE LADY - ''DON'T LOOK BACK'...'........AS SHE LEAVES ON HER JOURNEY....

THERE ARE TUBES OF THE CARRIAGE, DRAGONS, WIZARDESS, LADY - THEN THE CHISELED FRAME ON THE CASTLE, AND ON THE INSIDE OF THE OUTSIDE FRAME :p

ALOT OF TOUCH UP PAINTING ........THAT'S ALL I CAN RECALL AT THE MOMENT!
