    thanks for the tip BB.
I tried it and you have to select a brush and colour each part manually :doubt:
So, it that is the only way, we can so it in Paint Shop Pro,
if someone knows better, please let me know. :)

I read a little bit at a time.
Mostly that has been PSP 5, but I know that I am missing out on the neat effects you can make with the newer versions. Thanks for the input. :D

it works too well Sonya, when I went to Image > Watermarking >
Read Watermark..., it said " if you copy that picture, I'll punch you
in the nose" lol.... :D Seriously, it worked very well: Do not copy! ;)

Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

Some of the effects are made with PSP but many of them
are made with the filters that we added in Paint Shop Pro.
I do not know if you can add a plug-in folder in Paint Shop Pro 5
but it would be worth trying. ;)

There are many free plugins are this site:

    plugins

To install a new folder, you go into the C: \ program files \ Jasc Softwares Inc \ Paint Shop Pro \. Click on the Paint Shop Pro 5 folder on your left, once in Paint Shop Pro 5, fo to the Menu > file > New > click on folder...a new folder will be created , call it "plugin", Then you can try downloading any Adobe filter, to see if it works or is compatible with Paint Shop Pro. Since we don't know if it's going to work with Paint Shop 5, just download one filter as a test. Once you downloaded the plugin or filter, you unzip it (in case it is zipped) and you put it in your plugin folder after. The only way to know it it works: you open a picture in PSP and you go to the Menu > Effect > and see if you can see a folder called Plugin in it and if the filter you downloaded is there... if it's there, try it on your picture....
See sreenshot of the PSP folder location.

    Hope this help. ;)

Another one, Topography Effect from Paint Shop filter menu applied
around 20 % + Soft Light from the layers palette applied lightly too. :)
Both pictures had a duplicated layers on which I applied the filters.
The first layer was not modified. ;)

This one is, er, uh, a little late. Remember the movie theme and Underword Dream, Marja? I kept working on the picture and this is what I got:

WOW! Alot of wonderful castles and great tips, Uguel!! Likin your avatar too!

Did you get a bad sunburn by chance?? SUNSCREEN!! AT LEAST ! Every chance you get!! ;) I am not a good suntanner either, so I sympathize with you, Uguel!!

Hands! What a grand transformation! Love that metal look! What do you use to get that? It looks soo different, I like it!!

BBoss! you stayed!! Yea! And doing just as well as we all expected you too!!

Eldar! Castles and fantasy, you should be having a great time!! Your pics are just fantastical! :)

Tried a little myself, finally got some tubes to work!

Sonya! Good idea, castles great pics!! You, also, got that watermarking stuff down really fast! Gotta try that myself!

BBuck! HOW did you get that shadow in the back of the castle pic? You put it there - right? Looks really cool!
And the reflet! I have to use that, thought I had it, but it dripped away somewhere?!? :D LOL!

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

    Marja:cool:

This is kinda cheating - but it wouldn't be a Castle theme without Cinderella's Magic Castle from Disney!!

Just a border and tiny little lighting change, this is where reflet would look good, tried that squitz prog, Brad, but it ended up being 1.5 mb!  Sooo.....no go! :(

YEAH, WELL, IT'S BEEN A LONG DAY! LOL!

TRYING AGAIN! THIS IS AN IRISH CASTLE, PROBABLY BEFORE MEDIEVAL TIMES - BY LOOKING AT IT..IT WAS MADE WITH TERRAGEN, NOT BY ME, I JUST ADDED THE TUBES, LIGHTING AND FRAMES.

I PROBABLY SHOULD RENAME THIS, 'WISHING ON A NEW STAR' SOUNDS MORE RESPECTABLE.........NAWW! ;)

This is a real castle in Scotland - I think- have to check it again... I did three layers, Uguel! WOWOW!! LOL!

And a ton of messing with all sorts of effects, so I would have liked it a little more 3D lookin, still trying to figure out how to do that! But, it is layers!!

    It's, of course, "Dragon's Coming!"

    thanks Marja.
and yes, I got a painful sunburn.
I had 2 bottles of suntan lotion, one was SPF 4 and the other was SPF 15.
After being in the sun for more than one hour I put the 15 one but
it was too late for I was already burnt and realised it later...in the car! :doubt:

I like your pictures guys, :)
and Marja I like the last ones you sent.
I did several pics with the Sleeping Beauty castle.
Here are a few examples. The first one was modified
with Auto FX Software and then I boosted the colours a bit.

Just made it transparent, added a 'film grain' (ie noise) and pasted the foreground over. It was a quite quick one....
