Hi,l'm currently trialling NOD32 and have found it to be pretty good so far but l just have one small problem. Most of my emails l get don't have the checked by NOD32 sig at the bottom.Do you think it is because l'm using Thunderbird 1.0.2
and it isn't scanned by EMON only by IMON that it just forgets sometimes to put it in even though l have IMON POP3 setup to append all email with the NOD32 message.l know it still scans all the emails but l was wondering if other people have had the same problem as me.Anyway it doesn't really matter as l intend buying the NOD32 full version but me being a bit of a perfectionest l like things to work the way there meant to work.(sorry for rattling on,maybe l got too much spare time  ).

    Hello Mollyman,

Only IMON will scan your Thunderbird emails. EMON is designed to work only with MS Outlook.
For your non tagged email, are the non scanned come from a gmail account (or any encrypted email account) ?
It depends too of the format of the emails. For html emails, only those with standard html will be tagged.

Maybe, but i can receive with Thunderbird emails from incredimail and they are tagged with Nod32, but it pass through a mailserver which scan too the mail, so maybe this one helps me in this case ...
Maybe it depend of the configuration / localisation of incredimail ...

EMON only works for Outlook Express IMON is what`s used for other mail clients. You can change the setting in IMON to scan and give warnings etc.

EMON works with MS Outlook only, not Outlook Express (as far as I know) ;)

I'll add my congratulations for using Thunderbird and not a M$crosoft product.
I myself use it and Firefox and/or K-Meleon to browse and have done for years now, no malicious exploits here so far (touches wood, well, laminated wood)
