    o_O Hi ,
I have recently installed Nod 32.I have a 1.1 gz ,256 Ram ,XP Pro laptop.Everything works ok but for regular 1 second lockups.
I read the previous thread about compressed files that could be the cause.I wasn't too keen on downloading the upx program after reading the forum there.Security problem.
If i quit Amon there is no freeze,so i know this program is having difficulties.
What files should be put in the ignore list, would this help?
Secondly during a full system scan pagefile.sys is the only file that can't be scanned. Is this the same for other users ??

The problem is being fixed here.

    thanks, :)

    Hey Michael,

    >However i cannot access the link to the first query -Problem is being fixed here. The first link is not working.

It seems to be a little misunderstanding. :) The sentence "The problem is being fixed here." is not a link - the links are usually coloured blue here. That sentence means that we are discussing here how to adapt the message so the customers would not worry about it. We have already more proposals.

    Thanks. :)

The result can be visible in NOD - this is also the task to consider. Anyway we have also other more important things to fix - so it's possible this result will be not visible immediately.

    Thanks. :)

Jan, I think journey's first and most important issue was was asking if there was or will be a remedy for the intermittent freezing when Amon is working.

As I believe was mentioned before, if one can find out which application it is that results in this intermittent cursor freeze while Amon seems to engage in a runaway scan, one can exclude the app from Amon scanning. However, as also mentioned before else in other threads, often this exclusion doesn't work and the only way to stop the intermittent freezes is by deactivating Amon entirely which is not an ideal option.

    hi All,
I was watching carefully what files Amon was checking ,config.nt was constantly there and flashing quickly was tcm which i recognized as TCMonitor from Moosoft.I disabled TCMonitor and Amon is working Fine now.
TCMonitor is a great little program but i guess i may have to leave it off as Amon has the priority.
    Thank's Jan and Thanks Sig, :D :D

:D Or, as I should have added and am now reminded by journey, another remedy is to disable the program that evidently conflicts with Amon. :)

Yes, components of The Cleaner and Amon do not seem to go together well.

We are trying to replicate and fix this behaviour here now.

    Cheers, :)

The programs I had to exclude were Zoom Player, Your Uninstaller and Tweak XP Pro.

    Add to that Pest Patrol.

I have to add a lot of files to the exception list otherwise they freeze when trying to load.

I hope there is a fix for this soon apart from turning of Amon.
