I have sent two suspected viruses to Eset. The first one was about two weeks ago and the second one was about three days ago. Both were sent automatically, using the option to do so when the notice popped up. I have not heard anything.

I am wondering should I be getting a response? Should I be taking any other action? I guess I could always reinstall the programs in question - both were executables that I need to run particular programs.

I am running the latest version, 2.50.25

Here is the log entry for one of the suspected viruses:

    Thanks for any advice.

It looks like a false positive, we'll check it.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Guess I will just exclude it from scans right now - and wait to hear. I would think it is a false positive - but better to be sure!

If there is a false positive or a sample that needs to be added quickly, you can still drop an email to support@eset.com with a reference to the file name that has been submitted, found in your NOD32 event log. However, always make sure that you are using the most current virus definitions before you contact us.
