I have Opera browser (v. 8.0) set to have no authorizations in PG 3.150 full. I am getting alarms that Opera wants to modify explorer.exe. Is this of concern? I don't understand why Opera should need this permisssion.

I run WinXp, Outpost 2.6 and NOD32. Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, as it turns out, the alarm warning that Opera wanted to modify explorer.exe was only recorded when a-squared Guard was running. When I terminate a2guard, no more alerts. Very curious.
