I recently ran a few tests on my PC's security

The one problem I am having is a report of Referer which I haven't been able to disable. I only started using Firefox recently

Is it possible to disable referer in 1.0.3?

    Firefox 1.0.3
    LookNStop 2.05p2

    Thanks

    Wouldn't YOU like to know?
    you can use proxomitron [www.kye-u.com]
or you can use the referrer toolbar from mozilla.org... search around.

    about:config

    network.http.sendRefererheader

Double-click it and set the value to 0

Some sites need that referer info or you may not be able to download images, files, etc.
