can't download beta???

Hello, I've tried to dowload the latest beta several times but each time I try I only download the previous beta. I checked the file size and the link shows 8.05Mb for the XP version of 2.50 beta 7, yet the dowload is showing 7.92Mb! The others show their correct filesize. I completed the d/l once for devilment and went through the installation and re-started only to find that it still shows beta 2 in the info panel, please help?

What browser are you using? Try clearing the cache. Are you using a download manager? Same thing, clear the cache.

 

This is a browser caching problem. Just clear entire browser cache and re-download latest BETA.

 

No, no download software and the cache has been flushed on at least 3 occasions.
Is there any other way, or download location please?

Sorry, it points to our server. But try it anyway, it must be a problem with cache - the older beta no longer exists on our server.

If it's providersite cached here comes the ultimative trick to avoid that

Use bablefish or other online translating sites and navigate to this site.
The online translator webserver acts then as a proxy

I used this successful to get access to blocked pages in a internet caffee

But Pssssssssssssssssssst !

So far so very good, it does seem a little faster and I'm glad that the pause option is there at last!
