Why to chose "NOD32 Kernel - Execution of an external application"?

Hi, I'd like to know because in NOD32 configuration it is better to chose "NOD32 Kernel - Execution of an external application".

Are you talking about when you set up a scheduled scan? If so, then yes that is required when setting up such a scan for using command line switches.

I prefer to scan it by alone. I dont think that is better to schedule a scan. For example, two times per week i scan my pc (In Depth) by alone.

 

From what I remember Kernal Execution launches the nod32 application.

Can you tell me because if I use "NOD32 Kernel - Execution of an external application" with this "Command line"
C:\ /clean /ah /all /subdir+ /heur+ /scanfile+ /scroll+ /arch+ /pack+ /mapi- /pattern+ /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /heurdeep /log+ /prompt /program
NOD32 needs 2 hours for scanning and if I run it manually in-depht analysis it need 40 mnutes.
In your opinion it is important to configure NOD32 antivirus with "NOD32 Kernel - Execution of an external application"?

Using the swiches that you posted will scan absolutely everything to the maximum. In-depth analysis does not. And because it is a scheduled scan I can have it do so when I’m not hanging around waiting for it to finish

But as i see in this command line is missing the scanning of :self-extracting archives, email files, alternative ntfs streams. Also missing diagnostic method for adware/spyware.

 

These are all new and I'm not yet aware of the switches for them.

Does the /quarantine work now with the new Betas... I read somewhere somehting about that. Cant find the post now thoug.
