Counting Spyware Detections

McAfee released an interesting WhitePaper about "Counting Spyware Detections"; the paper does also mention some things that are sometimes discussed here in the wilders forum, like number of virus records, virus naming problems, poor tests, etc.

I overlooked that your link is for downloading a .pdf file. Some folks make mention of such things -- for those who fail to read carefully (such as me... duhhh).

In any event, the link didn't work for me. Has it worked for others, I wonder?

 

I see the PDF using IE.

 

I didn't have any probs viewing it in FF, but Acrobat can be flaky sometimes.

 

Works fine here (Firefox 1.0.3); have you tried right click save link/target (depending on browser) as and then open in Acrobat reader?

 

If you are having trouble with acrobat you should use foxit here the mcafee is pretty interesting.
