I'm using Outpost for now. Was using Norton's firewall, but I changed after it identified any file named avp.exe as the Aliens vs. Predator game. Big error!

I was a quite happy user of Sygate till Avast added webshield which being a transparent proxy, was forced to dump it as Sygate has proxy program issues.

I use ZoneAlarm Free, a pure simple firewall.

I like the red button in ZoneAlarm to disconnect from the internet.
I call it my relax button.

I don't like the colors of that button, a better choice would have been :
red = no access to internet (in stead of dark red)
green = access to internet (in stead of red).
    Just like a traffic light.

The lock icon is superfluous IMHO, because the red button does the same job.
