What is this Module for? It doesn't say anything about it in the help files.

    Just wondering,

So, if I am using Poco mail to receive mail on a Pop3 account, I can turn the NMS module off, right?

    Thanks,

From the description of it, yes, it appears it's only used for MAPI not POP3, so you should be able to turn it off. Also, let us know if you actually have trouble turning it off, as was mentioned by marti in that other thread.

I will turn it off and let you know if I have trouble.

    Thanks,

Well, I turned NMS off and Imon off, because of the trouble between Poco and Imon. I rebooted and both of them were turned back on. Is there anything I can do about this?

    Thanks,

Turn 'em off after every boot like I do -- and complain until it gets fixed. :D :D

    Phil,

I like the way you think!! ;)

    bowhuntr,

From the mix of posts regarding the beta I see that a few people have the same problem and can't make it/them go away, yet, some people say they've turned them off (apparently successfully) as a fix to some other problem. Seems it's going to be one of those items that needs to be addressed as the beta moves forward.

I managed to turn IMON off and keep it off, but NMS comes back when I reboot. Not a problem, I just turn it off again after the system comes back up. :D
