Mem Usage: I don't have any higher mem usage in here. CPU resource is up a little. But still the most resource friendly AV on market. It is like if Fprot 4 came out and have double mem usage. Hey it is only 2 Mb last time. 4 Mb is still least Mem usage on market as well!. ( Drifted off topic a bit )

What i am saying is that mem changes over time. SO if you have 6 Mb before that is because NOD32 release memory over time. NOD32 has always been 18 - 20 to start up. Then it drop down. On my machine i see no memory difference between this and the old one.

Site Block List: Is that similar to SpywareBlaster?

    Hi there,

I had make a large list of problems, complaints, feature miss, comments, suggestions etc. for upcoming NOD32 Versions/Releases and posted it here: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=419295#post419295

It contains Security, GUI, help file/documentation and other topics..

I think most of them is related to NOD32 2.5 and I hope you implement most of them (opinions) in my list in NOD32 2.5 final.

    thx and best regards,

    iNsuRRecTiON

I wonder why you have missing upper panel texts.
I used several Visual Styles for XPs,and now i'm using Alienware GUI mod(total converson) for XP and no graphic bugs in NOD32.

I use ChaNinja RC4 style, no problems with GUI.
In 2.12.3 I used to have a bug tho: when I viewed a log and moved the mouse over the log contents, they would suddenly have a blue background. It's not present in 2.5 beta luckily.

The beta is working fine for me. Rock solid and seems to do exactly what it says on the tin.

Even the DMON/SP2/ActiveX bug has been fixed - one of the first things I checked :)

The beta is working rock solid here as well (XP Pro SP2, Sempron 2600+, 768MB RAM, GeForce FX5200). Great new features. :)

One gotcha though: I've disabled the virus signatures to test the heuristics when scanning my small sample collection, and now the new Early Warning System is trying to send all of them to Eset labs. It doesn't seem a good idea to try sending samples detected by heuristics when virus signatures are disabled.

Maybe if signature checking is disabled, the heuristically found results could be checked with sigs before offering to be sent to Eset (the user doesn't have to know about the sig scan's result, and on those few files they should be scanned extremely rapidly).

    nod32 scanner doesnt finish

    hi peeps
i've already submitted this to the beta email address, but thought i'd post it here too, just in case anyone else comes across it or if anyone already has and knows the reason for it.
Basically, i run nod32 scanner with the 'scan email files' option selected and during the scanning of the deleted items dbx file it just stops, closes the scanner window and thats that. when i check the scanner logs it shows this screen shot where the status shows as 'running', and it stays as running. I suppose i could clear the deleted items folder to stop this problem, but it may just happen again sometime. This problem is new to the beta version with its scan email files option. as i've said, i've emailed eset, just want to know if anyone else has experienced this problem, if this should be in the beta thread fee free to move it!

The other thing I wanted to add is why you didn't add EMON features to IMON ? Features like checking smtp and other EMON features...
Improved IMON can protect other MUA's like mozilla's widly used `Thunderbird' or... but EMON just protect Outlook  .

I don't know if it's my Firefox or NOD32. After some browsing, everything just stops and i get no response from webpages. I restart Firefox and it's ok for some time and again the same. I'll try without IMON and report back.
