Anyone having a problem updating G Data AVK. The securety Agent tells me there is an update, but when I try to get it, I am told I allready have the latest update.

I'm not having any problems here. What version of virus signatures do you have? (Click on "Info"). You can always check what it shows there against what is on the antiviruslab site, under "New Viruses", and see if they are the same. Currently AVK 15.0.3708 and BD 15.0.455.

Have you tried closing the Security Agent and opening it back up?

Thankyou chia, when I looked closer I found out, that I had somehow lost my BitDefender engine, but I have re-installed AVK and now it seems to work.

Bibbe, you know that if you set security to Medium or Low the monitor runs only the KAV engine, and also that under Options you can choose which engine(s) to use for on-access (monitor), on-demand (virus check), and email check. If you set up scheduled scans, you can configure engines to use for them too.

    Distributing A Software

Hey, I know this place is not where I must do this but i'm pissed tryin' to find out other places. I have created a software that checks whether your Anti Virus is working or not. Im currently working on v3.0. The older versions are not that great but what the heck? Any one want it, please tell me. If you are viewing this Forum pretty late then, you can mail to me asking for it, idic@rock.com
Well its freeware, so I would appreciate if you distribute it to friends, family, enemies, whoever, whatsoever!

Hi Grumble, no protection was set to complete protection, I really don´t know what happened to my BD-engine. When I looked under "Info" it didn´t show.

Give me as much details about it as you can and I'll test it out if I can.
