I own all of DCS's available tools. If forced to keep but one, Process Guard would be my choice of the keeper. But that's just me.

Take care and have fun! :D

If I click on the "Download scripts" icon in the TDS/Scripts it just takes me to a page which says "coming soon." Where do I get the scripts etc. for the speech and other things please?

Well I downloaded and ran spchapi.exe and also the scripts but nothing seems to work. I have the normal xp speech synthesizer which works OK so what could I be doing wrong? Obviously I have tried the slider in all positions and the first time I press test I get the egg timer cursor for a few seconds but nothing after that. I also notice that although I have confirm on exit for the program ticked it just unloads straight away. Any help or detailed instructions would be appreciated.
    Jim.

Hello again a nice thread for you fronm the stikey threads on top of tthis TDS forum:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=24123
Halfway you'll find my explanation about getting the exact SAPI4 runtimes and a few more and how to get it working on XP.
XP comes with the SAPI5 speech engine, the msagents and the speech in TDS work with SAPI4, another kind of speech engine, which can be installed beside the other.
If the runtimes are installed and the speech control panel (do it all default!) you can go in the system control panel, speech en choose the SAPI4 speech engine. Then you'll be able to hear TDS speaking nice things to you.
Further from the download page at the msagent grab the msagent characters, at least Genie.acs, as that is the one i use most in the scripts for TDS as i don't want to force everybody to collect several hundreds of those nice agents just to play occasionally.

When you want to start a script, in TDS > SS3 > Load script > search for example in the UserSubmitted > Jooske > InnerPeace.ss3, double click it to start it and if everything is well installed re speech and the msagent stuff you should get a nice little intertainment on your screen.
Since you like games i hope you like the kind of playing around with the msagent fun, even in TDS which in fact is a security tool.
Hope this and the thread mentioned brings you further!

This is a nice instructive thread too, so you see some more about our hobby!

Well I'm getting there! Got the voice working and some of your examples work but not all run. Even the ones that do work still give script errors and the ones that give a window with a button to press for speech give no sound but, for instance, the one that asks if it is working now is fine. Getting late here now and a bit tired so will do more tomorrow. Great stuff Jooske. Thanks.
    Jim.

    You're welcome!
You will find lots more in the TDS Private forum in the SS3 scripting area.
I always recommend to check the path used in the scripts and edit them carefully to your own situation.
For instance in my Scripts folder i made a folder CokeMachine. All my scripts have that name in the path, it is the folder where i put all images and my own scripts so i know i have it all complete and working in every script.
The sound wav and midi files i use in scripts i always put in C:\ so they work with every sound system on people's computers from TDS.
So grab also that DiamondCS logo in my test/demo files thread, put it in the folder and you no longer have an empty popup with a button but one that looks much nicer.
