    ..........................

In sweet Lim'rick Town, they say
Lived a chap named Patrick John Molloy

If You're Irish Come Into The Parlor By ??

I always feel when you are near
That life holds nothing dear but you
The smiles that once you gave to me
I scarcely ever see them now

That is a traditional Irish song called I'll take you home again, Kathleen
I beleive it was written by Thomas P. Westendorf

And will you come to me mother's house,
When the sun is shining clearly
I'll open the door and I'll let you in
And divil 'o one would hear us.

    As I Roved Out Traditional

    And your eyes twinkle bright as can be;
You should laugh all the while
    And all other times smile,
And now, smile a smile for me.

    "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling"

By Ernest Ball, Geo Chaff Jr. and Chauney Olcott

    <What's with the Irish craze?>

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No chance that's what you got. (ha ha yeah)
Up against a machine too strong.
Greedy politicians buying souls from us are puppets.

Vince and Shane McMahon No Chance in Hell

One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain,
Third is the roses that grow in the lane.
No need explaining, the one remaining
    Is somebody I adore.

    When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

    Oh! The drums go bang
    And the crystals clang,
    And the horns they blaze away;
    McCarthy pumps the old bassoon

(I think we are repeating  :D )

Sure I've roamed this wide world over
But of all the lands I've seen
There's no spot I'd rather dwell in
Than my little isle of Green

    An Irishman's Dream

    Most everyone knows,
    And when we are married,
    How happy we'll be,

    .......................

    you left my heart shaken
With a hopeless desolation, I’d have you to know
It’s the wonders of admiration your quiet face has taken
And your beauty will haunt me wherever I go

As I walked by the dock-side one evening so fair,
To view the salt water and take the sea air,
I heard an old fisherman singing a song:
Won't you take me home boys, my time isn't long

Wind That Shakes the Barley Robert D. Joyce, 1830-1883

In a field by the river
My love and I did stand,
    And on my leaning shoulder
    She laid her snow-white hand.

    ............................

As I went home on Monday night
As drunk as drunk could be
I saw a horse outside the door
Where my old horse should be
Well I called me wife and I said to her
Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that horse outside the door
Where my old horse should be

THE BOYS FROM THE COUNTY CORK

Girt around with cruel foes, still their courage proudly rose
For they thought of hearts that loved them for and near
Of the millions true and brave o'er the ocean's swelling wave

    God Save Ireland
    From Wikisource
    <Wikisource:National anthems

"God Save Ireland" is a patriotic Irish song written in 1867. It was the unofficial national anthem of the Irish Free State from 1916 until 1926, when it was displaced by the official "Amhrán na bhFiann".
    ...............................

And the angels found it, sure it looked so sweet and fair
They said suppose we leave it, for it looks so peaceful there!
So they sprinkled it with star dust, just to make the shamrocks grow

    A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN

Is that willow tree still weeping there?
Does that laddie with the twinklin' eye
Come whistlin' by and does he walk away
Sad and dreamy there not to see me there?

    No Irish Need Apply
by John F. Poole, 1862, sung by Brendan Nolan

So fare thee well, sweet Lisa dear
    And likewise to Derry town
And twice farewell to my comrades bold
Who still dwell on that sainted ground
