    Well, I am already finished. :D
    Let me know if there is stg you don't understand after you tried the program.
    Here is the menu translated. :) Hope I did not forget anything.... :doubt:

    Reflet Menu

    Fichier= file
    Ouvrir= open
    Quitter= to quit, or close

    Options=options
    Animation entrée=animation enter
    Vitesse=speed
    Lente= slow
    Moyenne= medium
    Rapide=fast
    Type de vagues= waves mode
    Courte= short
    Moyenne= medium
    Longue= long
    Image=image
    Hauteur= height
    Perpective=view, perspective
    Regulier=regular

    you will see a yellow folder, so you can
    open your image from there. Next to it, there is the animation signal button, the hands with the signal gadget, and after to the right the export button.

    --->see where it is written ''hauteur'' this is the place where you can adjust the animation or the space you want to allow to the water.<---

    I also notice that I have better results with pictures that are
    rather large than long.

    Thanks Uguel, it gives a lovely reflection of the water. ;)
    Can't wait to try it out.
    BTW I speak French fluently, although my writing could be better. Only practice helps. :D
    Excellent translation of the menu. :cool:

    Eh, merci ! Ça fait plaisir d'entendre cela! :D
    Je suppose que tu li le français sans difficultés, n'est-ce pas?
    Oh, pourrais-tu proposer le prochain thème s.v.p.?

    Another one I made long ago... :)

    Je n'ai aucune difficulté de lire ou de parler le français. Ecrire me pose des problèmes, car je ne l'ai pas fait depuis des années. A mon travail j'en ai presque jamais besoin. :(

    I have no trouble reading or talking French. Writing gives me problems, because I haven't done it in ages. At my work I don't need much.
    Merci beaucoup pour la proposition Uguel! Laisse moi reflêchir une peu ... Pourquoi pas le feu? Ca pourra m'aider à mieux faire les essais pour Firecat. :)

    Thanks for the proposal Uguel! Let me think ... Why not fire? It could help me with the tests of Firecat.
    Splendid, I really love that picture. Reminds me of my wonderful vacation in Switserland. :cool:

    Well done Brad! :)

    they both look good but I'd say that
    the one in post 281 is my favourite.
    And, I am sure that the one you posted of Sophie
    looking at the water (post 796) in the Angels thread
    might be interesting to try. Of course, you might have
    to reduce the picture a bit at the bottom not to have
    too much water...depending on the result you want to
    achieve. Keep on the good work! :)

    Thanks Uguel,
    Quick question. Adding frames to animations? Is there an easy method or has it got to be added to each frame individually? I can only get things to paste to one frame (even though all are selected) unlike when you crop...it crops all the frames simultaneously....
    Thanks,
    Brad.

    Okay, normally I add a frame to each of them indivudally before
    opening them in Jasc Animation software.

    but...

    Let say you have a .gif that you like and that has no frames...
    and you decide that you want to add a frame to them...

    This is my method, I open the .gif in Jasc Animation shop,
    then I notify the size of the .gif, if it says that it is
    150X80, I will open Paint Shop Pro, create a transparent
    picture of 150x80, add a frame to it, and then I will export
    it as a .gif on my desktop.

    Then I will open the picture with the frame in Jasc Animation shop
    and will duplicate it until I get the same number of frames as in the
    animations.

    For instance if my original animation has 5 frames, I will
    duplicate my frame 5 times. What I do is this: I select my frame
    (it becomes blue) I go to "edit" do "copy" and "paste after the selected picture". I do it until I get 5 frames .

    --->this can be done by right clicking too<---

    Then I click on my animation (the one that has no frame yet) go to "edit" and click on "select all", the frames will all become blue, and then you click on the series of frames, to select them, the one that has only frames...no picture inside , you go to "edit" again, and then you click "select all" and then you click on "copy in the selected picture" so then you can copy your animation into the animation that has the frames only.

    --->the general priciple behind this is that you copy
    the smaller frames, into the bigger ones<---

    If there is stg you don't understand or is not clear just tell me.
    For I might post you a screenshot by tomorrow. ;)

    Thanks! I think I understand. I was worried about adding frames individually...thinking that if they weren't lined up perfectly, they would appear to 'jump' in the animation!.....but your method would solve that. I'll give it a try.
    Thanks again,
    Brad.

    Okay, another one made with Reflet.
    I had to cut and re-arranged the picture after I applied the effect
    for the picture was about 2 inches too long. :doubt:
    it sure is still long but look at that boat! :D

    Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

    Your welcome! :)

    The trick not to have it jump when you duplicate a picture
    is to go to "edit" then you choose "copy" and "paste after selected image".

    Also, you can also take a frame that has a coloured background
    (provide it has the right size), but after you duplicated it and that
    you are ready to paste your animation in it, you must make sure
    that there is no background showing, so you got to have a very
    good sight or you might increase the size of the picture while doing so.

    That's excellent Uguel! You've got the knack for picking the right picture! Boats would be excellent subjects to use with reflet..

    Brad I like that picture with the earth setting over the lake at nite. Uguel I like the butterfly #258.

    I guess no one has looked at dreamy photo? Oh well. I always used the think the more detail the better the picture. Lately the girls around here like going and getting there pictures taken at this low cost studio. I tell them I could take much better pictures but they dont believe me. I took a look at one, and I got it. The photographer makes the picture all blurry (to erase all the imperfections)

    Now I think there are two types of good pictures. good detail and blurry.

    anyway that is the point of dreamy photo sort of. they try to blur, but by using a gausian blur. I'm not used to purposely bluring stuff though.

    Maybe i will give it a quick try.

    Yeah, when resizing you always lose some quality. It always happens to me too. :( Nice try though. ;)
    Tried it with a radial blur and it gives a nice touch to the picture, although you must not set it too high.
    Saw that picture yesterday, but no time to congratulate you Brad. Incredible job. :cool: Downloading now ...
    BTW Did you make the reflection of the moon yourself? You copied the picture, rotated and applied a ripple effect and afterwards pasted it into your design and applied a blending effect? Just guessing the steps of our new graphics master to be. ;)
