The Steelers find ways to win. They've only lost one game. It may be their day.
    So, good luck! :)

Temperature forecast for the 6:30PM (EST) kickoff in Pittsburg:

    12 degrees!!!

That pigskin's gonna be pretty slippery for both the QBs....especially Pittsburgh's "rook".

Normal for Pitt this time of year. Steelers prefer this weather. Another reason why my money is on them. :D

That's a shame. I enjoy controversy. I just have to make sure my kids are looking elsewhere else during halftime... ;)

Hmmmm....Super Bowl XXXIX. I'm so old that I remember Super Bowl I - only it wasn's called that. It was the NFL-AFL Championship Game. 1967...LA Coliseum. Top ticket price was $12. The game did not sell out. There were no wardrobe malfunctions. No one cared about the halftime show/commercials. Imagine that: the game actually mattered!! :doubt:

Things began to change with Joe Willie Namath & the name Super Bowl in 1969. That SB name was roundly derided @ the time as too pretentious, sounding almost cartoonish.

My, how times have changed.... ;)

The power of money. RE: FedEx Orange Bowl, Nokia Sugar Bowl, etc.

A freshman football player in college makes more than many executives these days.

:) The game is over, the hype is over, the season is over. I thought some of the commercials were funny. Bring back the marching bands, I miss them. Cheer leaders would have been nice.

All in all thought it was an O.K. game, but I have seen better. Have to admit thought they are two good teams, and I like the idea of no super heroes on either one. Yup New England can rightly call itself a dynasty, but I still miss the teams of old. I stopped routing for pro sports a long time ago, they became to commercial for my liking. I still watch the Super Bowl however and think of the teams of old and when football was not so commercial and the players not so full of themselves, occasionally a team will fall into that category, but less and less these days.

    Thanks

LOl Drew Bledsole sign with the Cowboys. I was flipping through the TV the other night and say the story on the NFL channel. I was so happy to see that the Coyboys sign a little young QB. Do I smell the superbowl this coming season? I think I do.

    Go Cowboys.

As a life-long Cowboy fan, it's hard for me to admit this, but I agree. :)

Are u ready for some football! :D

Well, i was subjected as usual to watching Buffalo today(whom i can't stand) because of the region i live in. :(

Final score was not what i hoped....

    Buffalo-22

    Houston-7

I know of at least one other person here who will not be too happy about it either. ;) :D

On a happier note, the Saints won so that's great news for obvious reasons.

As for that other Texas team.... last i saw was dead even. ;) :D
