After a complete uninstall of 3.10 (which was working fine) and a new install of 3.150 full version, am having some strange problems.

All the buttons are half blacked out and difficult to read.
After comp boots, only half the programs are listed in the ALERTS window.
Went into msconfig to make sure they were checked.

Also, some of the programs don't show up in the SECURITY window after I
    run them.

Have uninstalled, downloaded fresh copy and installed with same results.

    All else is running well.

    Hi Lou :).

Indeed, that is strange. You may have had pghash.dat and pguard.dat left over from a former uninstall attempt. Have you tried doing a manual uninstall also:

Then try installing again and let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Jade.

Hi Jade, thanks for the reply.

The first install was after a complete reformat of my harddrive,
(had some serious problems) so I was working on virgin ground.

Before the second install, I did a complete uninstall including pghash.dat and pguard.dat. as you described.

All the other software is working fine.
Hard to believe I'm the only one with this problem.

    Lou

Sorry to hear you are having problems Lou.

This is what I would do:

After uninstalling using the manual method, check to see if the ProcessGuard folder is still in the Programs folder. If so delete it (make sure you have your serial copied and saved first - if you keep it in there).
Then do a search in the registry for "processguard" and "procguard", deleting any left over entries. Reboot, and try again :).

I remember that another member (WilliamP) had similar problems at one stage, and found that the culprit was a few left over registry entries.

If any of this makes you feel uncomfortable, then I advise you to wait for further guidance form the DCS lads themselves.

    Best regards,
    Jade.
