Just looking for opinions on the password keepers and generators.
I've read some positive articles on Roboform but wondering how secure
    these programs are.

Paid Roboform is excellent and very secure. All information is encrypted with 128-bit Triple-DES. The free version limits you to 15 or so entries and is encrypted only with 54-bit standard DES.

I choose not to use programs which hold my passwords for me as a hack for it could be released at any time or someone could crack it or anything, and I would be a sitting duck. Atleast with my brain, no flaw should ever be found as I just memorize computer generated passwords. Often atleast 12 characters in length, 2 or 3 numbers and the rest letters.

Hey JimBob.....A "hack" released anytime for 128-bit encryptiono_O In that case, I wouldn't trust banking online or anything else. Roboform is protected by strong encryption so hacking the program would mean breaking 128-bit strong encryption and it's going to have to happen on YOUR computer! Don't think so.

and to be honest: just my opinion...a password generator I will not trust cause that would not be random I guess...or am I wrong here?
