question about processguard

I have a question about this. I'm currently using the free version and there is an exe I want to launch and protect from closing or exiting out. I told it to protect it from terminiation and stuff but if i go into taskmanager and pick it , I can close the app. PG protects me from opening it but it seems to close very easily even after i have protect from termination checked. I have this application that exits after 1 hour and I was wondering would having pg protect this exe keep it from closing after an hour? thanks

 

Hi nick, make sure you have not given Task Manager "allow terminate" privileges, which would allow it to circumvent any termination protection you have given to any other application.

 

well i got protection checked for mtstart.exe and mytheatre.exe . and for the options i got the protect from terminate,modify and read checked for both of these exes, but after one hout it tried to exit, i got a error message like violation and something something read address then it said it blocked it from exiting but it still tried to exit and hung up everything in the process.
