$2,278.73 Gateway PC should come with Documentation!

    Although this is probably not the case for this event. Companies seem to be putting as much reading material on the actually pc intead of in a manual as it saves papy resources.

    That was part of the problem with the system I received. Gateway said the info was on the computer and I'm not totally computer illeterate. All I found were empty files where Gateway said they had loaded the info. The system was rushed thru and quality control was lacking in my opinion.

    Since you purchased that Dell with XP and did not get a XP hard copy manual from them and did not send the whole thing back for a refund..it appears to me you have answered all your own questions.. :D Unless you can tell us why you did not send it back and insist on that documentation or the refund?


    We already know what Pretender has done ;)

    BTW..did you get any type of hard copy manuals at all with that new Dell?

    One of the great things about a homebuilt computer is that manuals come with your motherboard, video card, cd or dvd player/recorders, etc.
