Meta just killed native WhatsApp on Windows 11, now it opens WebView, uses 1GB RAM all the time

    And yet I see people almost daily, trying to kill off Edge, which they do not use, not realizing that it is also a runtime. That is also one reason, why apps like WhatsApp, run their own WebView2, so instead of 1, you might get 10.
    Then again, we live in 2025, 1GB is like 100MB a decade ago. Almost every app and browser uses ~1GB on average, 32GB RAM is considered basics, less will result in a bigger pagefile. Eg. Audials Radio uses WebView2 too.

    Why would anyone use this app, if it's the same as WhatsApp Web, and uses even more RAM? It doesn't make sense, what a bunch of morons.
