   To this very day and stretching all the way back to Windows 98SE, Linux has been invaluable in repairing Windows where either permissions or some other lock down feature causes problems and wastes time. Recently FEDORA on-a-stick pulled Windows out of yet another glitch with amazing ease and safely.
