Wow, never heard of Eight Sleep Pod. Nevertheless, Even if I trusted the cloud to always be there (which I don't) I sure would not want anyone on the other side of the cloud to know what time I went to bed, what time I get up, how many times a night I got up,, etc. I find it hard to believe someone would buy such a mattress that required constant internet connection to function. o_O

    The "cheap" queen is $2649!

    $1000 blanket!

    Exceptional sleep.
    Without exception.

    Yeah right! :(

More people should get a horsehair mattress, they last for up to 100 years.

    - Why can't these biometrics not be collected and used without an internet connection ? Is here someone spying on these sleeping men and women ?
    - Just imagine being infected by a virus that makes the bed go up and down all night long and every say 5 minutes ....................... LMAO !!!!!!!

To add..............Unlike hard drives of the past, something on that order you can't just take a hammer or strong magnet to in order to render it for the junk pile :argh:

Oh I am sure you easily can. If you follow the link I provided above, you will see the "control" box or "The Hub" is rather HUGE device that sits next to the bed and powers everything. It is so big, I assume, because it contains water used in temperature regulation. Anyway, I am sure The HUB could easily be destroyed with a big enough hammer.
