    Well I downloaded it (Comet browser) and am using it to write this. I am using Shadow Defender to run it in and of course under the supervision of Sandboxie:)

    I declined the default offers when installing of making it the default browser, importing favourites, opening at startup signing in with Google etc.

    It's quick and responsive. I don't think there will be a problem for folks to set it up, it has all the usual Chrome type settings.

    It obviously more geared up to AI usage but I have only asked it the best time to prune my salvia :D

    Interesting.

    I have just installed it a short time ago, but with limitations for the time being. It wants my email address, which I have not provided at this stage. Since when does a browser require such information for one to use it? I asked it my first question, then exited.

    @Tarnak
    I didn't give my email either. I guess they need it to be your helpful email sorter :)

    Overall it seemed very polished and could be used as a 2nd browser without giving away your soul.

    A no-slop AI assistant! Worth watching to see if they can live up to this statement.
    FYI: Comet is not available on Linux systems.

    I just installed it and asked it a few GPO questions. It shows it searching through Reddit, forums, etc then gives you the answer with a link to references. I did not do any of the above like @stapp or @Tarnak mentioned. I also did not care for the music playing upon initial launch lol. We will see if I keep it installed or not.

    I have no need for this AI stuff, and this browser is probably spyware, similar to Crappy Chrome! :gack:

    Yes I understand, I will probably also test it once I get my new laptop. But I already know I'm not going to like it. And why don't they offer a full installer, can't stand these web-based installers.

    Also take a look at this review, seriously this stuff is so dumb. Are they really spending hundreds of billions to develop this? That's why I'm starting to believe that AI is mostly hype.

    If it's so good, then why can't chatbots solve any of the problems that I report to companies? I reported a problem to TikTok, but those dumb bots don't get it.
