    It seems to have worked, for now at least. Germany is no longer approving of the current proposal and a blocking minority has been reached. However the word minority is not exactly confidence inspiring. Chat Control has also been proposed a few years ago already and came back several times in different propositions. Some were less draconic to get more people to agree, but the recent propositions were based on the original draconic proposition. People need to remain vigilant and keep resisting.
