US company wants to change EU law? Isn't it - by today standards - foreign interference, is it?

Apple is very 'elite' and considers itself above the law of mere mortals. I have not bought, and will never buy, any apple product. Their design obsolescence and hype to convince us peasants to buy the latest greatest whiz-bang iApple thingy is deplorable.
