edge is able to import firefox data, so chrome should work too, except you have set a master password.

for v115, this is really silly, funny, disappointing, number counting, what ever. but i expected this, and the next prolongation for 115 until oktober'26 and more. mozilla should hut up this messages and if they really stop 115, then its time to announce this happening.

who cares, now its optional and visible in settings, before it is

    about:config
    browser.ml.chat.providers
claude, chatgpt, gemini, huggingchat, lechat, copilot (my settings you can add others)

it does not matter how much MS is paying - it matters that they are paying.
Mozilla is using income, however and fromever.

news for this, from june this year.

    i hardly miss FakeSpot...
    possible alternatives
    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/reviewmeta-com-review-helper/
    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/thereviewindex/

GPT and similar cant do this.

I found the solution--KeePassXC. At least it does everything I need it to. It lets you create a credential that has a username/email only, and autofills it. On some sites where I'm not that worried about security I can also include a password and it works great for that too. Used with its browser extension, KeyPassXC-Browser, it couldn't be easier to use really. There are still a lot of passwords I don't want stored on my machine; for those, I keep them on a flash drive attached to my USB hub which I can simply switch on, copy the password and then turn it off. Easy enough.

I've been using the FF fork, Floorp, for a couple of weeks now. I haven't encountered this issue so far but it's good to know there's a way to overcome it if it does. In my experience, Floorp is a lot better than Edge. At least many of the problems I had with Edge don't exist in Floorp.

    Hi Phil,
What issue was it that you meant?
Regarding Floorp, did you notice it has its own dedicated thread?

To remove, "On Windows, Firefox now supports running websites as web apps pinned directly to the taskbar", as shown in the address bar icon.

    about:config > browser.taskbarTabs.enable = false.

because of ublock? reallyo_O pointless, this author has strange behavior!!! i dropped any ublock extension because of his personal (!) behavior towards uBoL. and ublock for chromium based is going to be phased out, no future. uBoL is far away from adguard MV3. he cant win this battle

nevertheless mozillas intention is appreciated beside the option to install older builds, those are available from AMO itself. but it points out the lack of control and knowledge of authors.

i consider a lot of crap extensions on the run, either AMO or chrome extension store, sorry. and google has less restrictions as mozilla.
