I had a quick look at the DiskGenius website. I like how they push their other software Isoo Backup in their backup tutorial. That aside. I've read some good reports about DiskGenius. R-Drive Image is another one I haven't tried. Back on topic. Hasleo Backup Suite is gaining a lot of traction around various forums, including Windows 11 Forum. There is a lengthy thread there. In fact, there is also a TeraByte Drive Image Backup And Restore Suite thread there.
It's from DiskGenius, I don't have any spare USB's to do more boot media but I can add things to my two identical Ventoy Flash drives. I had never done moves before and I wished the section where one drags/slides actually shows the partitions instead of just blank space. EaseUS and AOMEI was easier to use as the slider is way too small on a 15" 3840x2160 UHD 4K notebook screen.
This is interesting as I did exactly what you said before as I do that on other sites and it works but when I tried it here, it will only show a link instead of the image but it works now for whatever reason.
My apologies, had the other thread opened but did not check updates on this thread. I see it now after I already gotten things done but when I was using DiskGenius in Hiren's BootCD earlier, I did try dragging it and it doesn't work so I had to use EaseUS/AOMEI to do the moving and then DiskGenius to set the exact partition size on the two moved partitions. EaseUS did the 1.06GB correctly but not the DELLSUPPORT which I was hoping to keep the consecutive 234 number but when it did the work, it changed it to 2.35. I will probably need to try this out in the future and restore the same image to an external drive or something just for practice and see how it works out. So it seems that on all of these programs talking about AOMEI, Hasleo, Minitool, EaseUS, they are really all Chinese companies that provide similar software and basically the arrows at each end of the bar is to select the size of the partition while the 4 way arrows like a cross is to move a partition. I actually was able to do it by shrinking the C first but just not click on the Start button. It's weird but it doesn't work when I needed it to earlier and now it does when I don't need it anymore. For the bar, they should really just show all the partitions like how it shows the partition map instead of just free space on both sides since you can't really tell where exactly on the disk it is moving to. DiskGenius in their documentation and How To's doesn't seem to have anything about moving partitions, only resizing. Have a question, what is the difference between Resize and Extend in these programs since it seems like Resize already has the Extend function as well?
To be honest, I never knew they had another backup software since it seems like DiskGenius is marketed as a all in one tool as it does disk images, cloning, data recovery, bad sector repair, partitioning. As for Hasleo, I was going to ask something. I know in all partitioning software, they will talk about 4K alignment. Hasleo talks about 1M alignment which is supposed to be part of 4K and better, I noticed none of the other partitioning software has anything other than 4K alignment. Looks like PartWork for Windows has it as well and they call it 1MB alignment. I believe on Elevenforums, it seems more people are non-believers there and think Hasleo is being developed too fast with negative thinking that it's not as good as Macrium Reflect X but it's @TheRollbackFrog who I believe is providing the excellent support here and there as someone mentioned elevenforums in this thread earlier here which made him also post on the forums there and answering questions from people there. What matters is the Hasleo developers will fix bugs within hours like I had experienced with successfully backing up since it took me 4 versions over a 6 day period before I actually was able to backup and restore, the first 2 fixes were more to fix the backup problem while the 3rd fix was to fix the restore problem which are all related to the DELLSUPPORT partition.
