I don't get what this thread is for.

This sub forum is for testing something before posting it to the main forum, just to see if it looks right. For example, if you are posting an image but are not sure if it will look right.

I believe the sub forum "Member Testing and Misc" should be excluded from the "Recent Posts" listing, so that members can test in peace and privacy.

    That could be an idea.
Or, for privacy, one could use "More Options" and the "Preview" option. When the preview looks right, you can choose not to post but simply close the thread.

The preview option does not work if you are uploading an image from your PC. Your options are to either test the image in a test forum, or just post blind and then edit the image size and position according to your liking.

To preserve privacy you can of course delete your image in the test forum after testing, this is what I do in my test area, but when the image is posted, it shows up in the "Recent Posts" list, even if it is deleted afterwards.

I second that. This is the best alternative I see. Can't understand why isn't implemented.

    Thank you, I see.
The uploaded image is in the formatting field, but the preview field only shows 'View attachment [###]'
If one is not sure the view in the formatting field is what will be posted, I understand the options are to test the image by posting in the test forum or post blind, as you say.
