Mostly a good thing. Users have to be aware that their identities are out in the open when you do this. I have some personal presentation for my limited public use of digital currency. My main concern for what I will call a "casual novice user" is that some are not aware that using BTC even once will allow anyone to see the full contents of your crypto wallet from which the transaction happened. Its how the blockchain works of course.

For experienced users that KNOW how to cover their tracks they can use a very small crypto wallet created with FULL BREAKAGE and therefore disassociated with their small Paypal crypto wallet. Say you have 0.10 BTC in the wallet you used buying something using Paypal. Right now today that wallet is worth 1100.00-1200.00 dollars and folks would be able to observe your wallet valuation if they knew how to look. BUT ---- if you have significant BTC stashed in wallets that are not able to be associated back to you then you are safer and no is any wiser. There are easy ways to move coins from your larger stash to a non-traceable BTC wallet for everyday use by cycling through atomic swaps using XMR or other simple methods. You are not avoiding taxes or any crap like that just remaining "cloaked" regarding your BTC holdings. Its crazy out there and you have to be careful!

Sounds complicated! Gives me another reason I just can't buy into the crypto world. My life is complicated enough. :argh:
