Can I get a recommendation on what would be the best combo in terms of security from the following:

Windows Defender + OSArmor + Malwarebytes Premium

    or

Windows Defender + OSArmor + Sandboxie Classic

    Thank you

The second option, without a doubt. Also, throw in a imaging program, just in case. Hasleo offers a freeware application.

Only if you know how to use Sandboxie properly.

Hitman Pro Alert was installed on my laptop. However, when it started up slowly, I deleted it and installed Keyscrambler

I tried Sandboxie on one of my two laptops, but it was too confusing.

Ok after some testing, I have abandoned those extensions yet again. The issue is that they block webpages, even when they are allowed. Not really practical. I will stick with DNS blocking, it is already giving me a headache as it is.

Try Privacy Badger for tracking protection. I don't encounter problems with web pages while using it.

Yes, that one seems to be work just fine, but I use DNS for anti-tracking and I do not want to add more extensions, but I would not mind replacing Cookie Dialog Monster with a content filter that blocks cookies and does a little more.

I was able to calculate the percentage of https and http links online from the urlHaus filter list.
Obviously this measurement has validity at a certain instant of time, after an update the percentages may change.

    This is the result:

    HTTP online malware = 62%
    HTTPS online malware = 38%.

So a rule that blocks http links allows for over 60% protection.

    Prevent = rule
    Cure = image

You enter the rule in 5 seconds and then forget about it.
Restoring the image does not take 5 seconds.

Then everyone in their PC does as they please......

5 seconds? No. But mine takes 30, from reboot to restore to re-login prompt. Not bad at all...

My setup has been similar for ages:

    Windows 11
    Windows security + Defender UI
    Malwarebytes (lifelong licence)
    CyberLock (lifelong licence)
    HitmanPro free (scanning during startup)
Chrome (AdGuard AdBlocker free, Bitdefender Trafficlight)

I use the PC always with normal user rights. I have a separate normal user for banking etc.

    --------------
Here is my setup that I posted here on December 2021:

    Standard user account
    Microsoft defender (+ Defender UI)
    Malwarebytes
    Voodooshield
    Chrome + AdGuard + uBlock + Trafficlight

Tell me about it, I have not changed anything for years, because it just works (even without AV), but I want to do more, though I am already better protected than 99% users. I probably could not get infected, even if I wanted to. :D

I do have an AV plus OSArmor, SysHardener, uBO, Osprey and, of course, a backup solution. I use Norton Power Eraser and adwCleaner for the occasional on-demand scan.
