Gemini's new terms might alarm you, but Google says there's no reason to worry

    I looked at Gemini settings in Android. It can scan text and images directly from the screen and respond when screen lock is applied. It is much like a Windows Recall...

    I looked for those settings where are they?

    Settings app -> search for Gemini -> Gemini Settings (wrench icon labelled "Others" on top)

    After one additional tap you will enter "Digital assistant app" with "Analyze on-screen text" option.

    Note: stapp article has some additional link to Gemini website, but I had problems with using it on phone.
    Android version 15, One UI version 7.0 (Samsung S22)
