If you open the developer console and click the 'Enable notifications' button, it should output 'Notifications set to: ' and then true or false.

The Vivaldi bug report has been posted. There's nothing more I can do.

Those who want to limit the number of protection providers cannot give up Bitdefender.
It has been the first PP to block this malware online for about 6 hours:

Currently only Quad9 is not blocking the malware although in the list it seems that it would also be blocked by Quad9.
Bitdefender is my first choice as a protection provider.
I would like to use only 2 PPs.

    P.S.

My second and final choice will consider:

    • Norton
    • GData
    • Emsisoft
Whereas it is quite likely that I will choose Norton, then I would like to compare,if I make that choice, Norton vs Symantec.

    After several tests, I chose:

    • GData

as my second and final protection provider.
GData often intervenes when Bitdefender does not block 0 - minute malware.

    Examples:

Out of academic curiosity I did some tests, malwares but also phishing and fake sites.
I obviously consider malwares blocking more important.

These are the Protection Providers that are to be enabled always.
With the 5 PPs enabled nothing escapes.
I include them according to the order of importance:

    1. BitDefender TrafficLight
    2. GData WebProtection
    3. Malware URL Protection
    4. Norton SafeWeb
    5. Emsisoft Web Protection
It seems strange to me that Malware URL Protection (which is also very good for fake sites) is not enabled by default.
    I would like to recommend

    @Foulest

    to enable it.:thumb:

MalwareURL is disabled due to frequent false positives and a lack of response times from their support team.

Osprey has been updated to version 1.2.1.

    Changes in 1.2.1
    • CIRA Canadian Shield is now disabled by default
    • Added new system policies for each provider
    • Rewrote warning page URL structure
    • Modified debug messages

The partnership will bring an exclusive protection feed to Osprey from the company, absolutely free of charge! It's a win-win!

Notifications mean browser notifications, not the block page. You can't disable the block page for obvious reasons.

It's no more than the pre-existing providers.

This is just a test page to see what notifications look like. But yes, if a website is unsafe, you will, of course, get the same notification. And no, Unsafe Website Blocked is not different from Warning, because it's a warning that Osprey blocked access to an unsafe website, so the wording makes perfect sense.

Basically, you get two notifications: a page telling you that access to an unsafe website has been blocked (which can't be turned off for a good reason) and, additionally, a browser notification telling you the same thing (which can be turned off and back on at any time).
