PDB files are needed for crash dumps analyzing.

v3.7 v3.7 has a defect. Until the bug is fixed, temporarily try to replace the exe.

Has Simplewall been discontinued? Its GitHub page has a message that the repository is now archived and read only!

Yes. The banner is now also gone from the page. The developer has posted in this discussion thread that he is having financial difficulties, and hasn't been able to get a job in five years. I am just amazed that a person who can code a firewall cannot get a software job in today's world. Its a sad reflection on the current hiring process where incompetent people with flowery language and soft skills can land a job, but competent people cannot.

Try setting your device in the DMZ and try again. It may be your router that reply and not your computer.

ooh yes that makes sense now because when I tried in my "old" internet, I used the old free zonealarm firewall v.15, and my previous internet was in stealth mode, but it wasn't with my now new internet via our association with the same old free zonealarm firewall v15.

I don't have a router, we have internet via our association, and I use a switch
I just emailed and asked our internet about why I can't log in to their router, maybe im not allowed?

(i use google translate so i hope you understand what i write :) )
