Happy New Year!

Here is the latest version of CyberLock. There is a new feature named Smart Firewall on the Basic tab in settings, toward the top. You can use it to harden windows firewall rules, and at some point we are going to be doing some pretty cool things with it.

BTW, I have also been working on a new project that is not cybersecurity related at all, and it is almost ready. I guess you could call it a Desktop Enhancement software, and I built it because I was tired of the massive amounts of icons on my desktop, and also out of frustration of having to go back to the same 10 or so folders a thousand times a day, and having to drill down each time. It has been a lot of work (but very fun to work on) but maintaining will be super simple, so it should not distract me from our important projects. Anyway, I will send you guys a link hopefully within a week or so. It is a portable app, but there will be an installed version as well.

Here is the latest version of CyberLock! There are just a lot of small tweaks and refinements. For example, the VoodooAi results in Settings sorts correctly now. We also added a button to the WhitelistCloud panel to delete an item. About 15 or so little things like that.

This version is released to the public, but the auto update is not active for this version yet, but it will be in about a week or so.

CyberLock 8.0 is coming soon and here is an early beta version. There were massive changes under the hood, mainly streamlining and moving code from the GUI to the service so that CyberLock is more enterprise like. There will probably be a few small bugs, but so far it is running extremely fast and smooth. But if you guys find anything that needs to be fixed, please let me know!

Installed here...but given the fact that coding has been moved I decided to undertake a clean reinstall. That went smoothly and have to say that so far the CyberLock is whizzing...super responsive (all the slight hang ups/waits of previous version seem to have disappeared) and just purring away in background as it should.

Most probably the best version yet...IMHO.

Hi all

Great catch, thank you! BTW, if anyone else notices any Auto Blocks that start in the C:\Windows or either of the C:\Program Files folders, please let me know, it is a super easy fix. The reason this is happening is because the user does not have rights to access these folders. We used to handle this differently, but now that everything has changed, there might be one or two more (but I think we have all of them by now).

Here is a version with the Chrome block fixed, along with several other tweaks and enhancements.

Getting very close! Here is the latest version. The last version had a few bugs in CyberLock Settings (I had made quite a few changes), but they should be fixed now. Thank you for reporting the blocks, we have only had 4 or so, but it helps a lot! The blocks may or may not be fixed in this version because a lot of that code changed, so it is hard to say. All I know for sure is that the code is pretty much dead on at this point, and exactly where we want it. But if there are any other blocks, even the ones from before, please let me know!
