    Hi,

Since a few weeks, when 360 TS updates the main application (not just the signature base), most of the time, 360 Extreme Browser is installed in the process without warning or user's choice. The worst part is that it becomes the default browser.

Today it took me quite some time to make Opera the default browser again, for some unknown reason.

Is there a way to avoid this forced installation to come back ? It happens with the free version but also with the registered version...

    Thanks.

2632 post are too much to read :doubt:, I would be grateful if I could have any opinion on free version: is 360 total security reliable ? Can be a good idea to use it as first defense - as av - of my system ?

Well, over at Malwaretips there is a thread about a test of 360. It did fairly ok. I used it before together with Bitdefender Trafficlight and Cloudflare DNS for stopping malware sites. That enhances the protection a lot since URL blocking is its weakest spot. Or where.

Oh, and it pops up ads about this and that, which can be stopped by the firewall. Since i did not use the Fw explicitly i used Firewall App Blocker from Sordum. A very simple trafic manager.
