As thought about some time ago https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/certificate-renew-keys-brainstorm-input-welcome.454537/ I have added a mechanism to renew Personal Certificates there is now a new product https://xanasoft.com/product/sandboxie-plus-renewal/ that gives you a key with which a personal type certificate can be extended 1 year.
If there are days left on the old certificate they will be added to the validity period of the newly generated certificate.
An new Advanced Encryption Upgrade key needs to be applied after the renewal, as it renews only the base certificate.

Also I have updated the guide with some help form ChatGPT: https://sandboxie-plus.com/applying-supporter-certificate/

Sbie plus personal shows as 60 euros. Is that with 25% off or is it taken off at the checkout?

its with it taken of the regular price is 80€

EDIT: I have updated the text to say in teh first paragraph: "– at a 25% lower cost than purchasing a new certificate." to make it clearer to what the -25% "Sticker" refers.

Unfortunately there does not seam to be an option in the store software (Woocomerce) to configure it to reduce the prices by the VAT amount only for countries where VAT applies, and I don't want to reduce the prices globally.

I'm from England and I've used a VPN to get rid off the 20% vat on quite a few websites, which Turkey, Argentina and Hong Kong locations have worked rather well but use a clean web browser (ie wipe out all data like cookies and history etc, so it looks completely like you're from another country).

I even purchased 2 years of Surkshark subscription using Surksharks own Hong Kong server to get it VAT free.

I probably should not write this in public but, selecting a non EU country during checkout also works.
