Unclear how and when? So, maybe one day we will - and/or not - nothing to see here.

How long will it take to release this feature? And is it 100% trustworthy, as it is Google in general? I already have email aliases with Startmail, but will it be better than what they offer? I mean, look at this email alias from Startmail. I wonder what Google will give us with this feature.

I have great success with DuckDuckGo using their version of this. Works flawlessly for me. I love being able to click on a "fake" email forwarded to my actual address and when I am finished continuing a history with the sender I simply click on "Deactivate". The fake address goes into oblivion. Nice!! Saves a bunch of spam that is for sure.
