To save further aggro I have uninstalled jdownloader and reinstalled and it now is picked up by Privazer,
Thankfully this can now be closed

 

Would it be possible, to show how much junk was removed in "megabytes"?
Showing how much free space available is pretty much useless to me, after cleaning.

Hello @SRT,

you have an hint of the deleted files but you may gain more space than it shows
as some databases are compacted by PrivaZer + some files are cleaned by the Disk Cleanup Tool that is launched by PrivaZer
to clean previous version of Windows + Windows Update :

Hi! I want to ask if Memory cleanup feature is safe to long-term use? Does it affect stability or durability of RAM in any way?

Every time I run PrivaZer on this machine Microsoft Defender alerts me to this:



Is there something I can change or tweak to stop this? It only happens on one of my two Win10 machines for some reason.

Not a risk.
ssadmin.exe is a Microsoft tool to manage shadow storages.
PrivaZer uses it.

i tried with The Official ImgBurn Website
I uninstalled the program, but the messes remain in regedit and maybe in other locations, can't you solve when a program is deleted to delete all the messes?

we will do our best as usual.

- we will add an option in a next release of PrivaZer to have a shortcut on your desktop to run a cleanup and shutdown the PC in 1 click.
- we will also add an option to have an history of what was cleaned and the size.

@DJDANY,
PrivaZer will remove the traces of program use and the leftovers in the registry when the program is removed.
But hard to say what the problem is in your registry.

First, sorry about the OT question, but...

How would one use that program to find left overs from programs that have already been uninstalled? When I open it (the portable version) along the top of the UI, Basic Operations and Advanced Operations are greyed out, so if the option is in there I can't access them. I did try looking at their user manual, but that did not help in any way.

2 days ago I had Google Chrome opened when I ran PrivaZer manual clean ( then I closed Google Chrome ) and got the message Another Clean-up in progress, and the pc was frozen, had to kill the power , I was able to replicate this twice

Sorry if this has been raised before
If a directory is selected and then right mouse click for Privazer to 'delete without trace' the Privazer pop-up lists the actions to be taken which includes shellbags,
However, the directory and files within are deleted but a trace of the directory is still found by Shellbag analyzer
Is this a bug, oversight or impossible?
