I just notice that F-secure(v5.55)uses new engines:

    Some questions
    1. Is "Libra" better that "F-prot" ? Any comments on this new "Libra"?

    2. KAV's newest version is 5.x, why F-Secure has 6.x engine?

    3. Any comments on "Orion"

Libra is just a modified F-prot engine.

About Orion, it is F-Secure's own scanning engine.

    Ciao,

    Just get email form F-Secure

Libra is not modified F-Prot. It FROM F-SECURE
But they don't explain why AVP engine version in F-Secure is newer. ;)

I got that "modifed F-Prot" from Andreas Marx test summary c't 2004-03. So, after this, Andreas Marx posted something that he actually didn't know.

    Best regards,
    Firefighter!.

Some good points here but I am sure that the consultants from the multi-engined vendors could put forward a completely opposite viewpoint ;)
