Try changing the service startup type:
Windows > Services > Sandboxie Service > Double-click > Startup type > Automatic (Delayed Start) or Manual" > OK

This is very unexpected there shouldn't be any changes that could cause such a behavior.

Changing the startup type of sbiesvc is a good try if its set to manual than sbie remins dormant untill you start it through the GUI and approve the UAC prompt.
If with the service set to manuall the issue still appears that it shoudl not be caused by sbie

First of all i will run the pc for some more days to see that it really is gone. Then, install SB-P, and if it starts again, change the service. So we will see in 10-12 days. But i think it is a compatibility problem with 24H2 since i, as a test, uninstalled everything that potentially could cause it, and no change. Uninstall SB-P did it. Maybe a coincidence, we will see. As said, 10-12 days, or more.

Is there anyone that uses Poppeeper with Sandboxie? If so, what config do you use to restrict it, yet allow for junk training?

I use the free PopPeeper 5.5.3 with SBIE classic.

Not sure I understand your question though. The only thing I do is force it to run sandboxed, and I have it in my list of programs allowed to run in my default box. Nothing special other than that.

I did have to allow it to have access to port 53 and HTTP/HTTPS in my firewall.

I will not do as i said in post #29 because, after installing SB-Plus, whenever i start Edge in normal mode, i get the promt to accept or decline integrity policy. Prior to install, that did not happen. And, SB-P does not auto clean after closing sandboxed Edge, i have to do it manually. So the testing as mentioned before, will not be done since i can not run unsandboxed Edge normally. But i am rather sure that SB-P where the cause of slowed down starts of the Pc.

And after years of mentioning that Slimjet does not function correctly with SB-P, it still does not.
