Same here. Refer to the below screen shot. Notice that ReCaptcha is displayed on the screen and is working; Are you using a VPN? Also, I am using uBlock Origin extension, so that is not the problem.
Disabled my eight FF extensions and it made no difference. Thanks for all the assistance but I've accepted that I will have to use Chrome for these two websites. The other one, if anyone is still interested, is https://myaccount.unitedutilities.com/Secure/Authentication/Login
No, I don't use a VPN. I use uBlock Origin, I don't Care about Cookies, Emsisoft Browser Security and TWP Translate Web Pages.
I can also enter login details on this website. The expected message appears that the login details are unknown.
@Cache, are you just using Ublock default TPLs or have you activated or added others? One of those TPLs could be blocking Google Recaptcha.
Do you have custom DNS servers set in Firefox? It's a longshot but at this point I would check if it were me, if only to rule it out.
Cleaned the browser-cache? https://www.cu.edu/blog/tech-tips/fix-website-issues-clearing-your-browser-cache
Thanks and definitely worth a shot. I am using Increased Protection with Cloudflare. Just changed to Default but it's not made a blind bit of difference. Seems to one of life's little mysteries!
According to this posting: https://support.mozilla.org/ee/questions/1446332?page=2 , the Google ReCaptcha issue was a bug on Google's side and it was fixed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1894735#c23 . Again, I and others are not experiencing the issue you are on the bank's web site. I would say at this point something is corrupted with your Firefox installation. You can do a Firefox reset: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings and see if that fixes the problem. If not, you will have to uninstall/reinstall Firefox.
No problems with Firefox here. Try about:support > Troubleshoot mode. Quickest way to see if it's an extension or something else.
To double verify the issue is not Firefox, I set up an account at this Orbis bank web site: https://client.orbis.com/uk/individual/en/signin . I then logged on using Firefox w/o any issues.
Believe it or not, but sometimes you also need to clear your cookies. And as said before, I would advice you to take a look at Vivaldi, which is based on Chromium and is way better than Firefox. On the other hand, you said you also had this problem on Brave, which is quite odd. But Vivaldi identifies itself as Chrome, so it should work on just about all websites. https://vivaldi.com/
