On Chrome and Windows11, I'm trying to get rid of the floating video in Facebook when scrolling down the Feed. I partially blocked it but audio stream remains.

How do I remove a global rule that I previously made?

    Ublock Origin Rule 01.png

Edit 1: Also, Daily Mail OpenWeb comments aren't showing in Firefox. Ublock Origin is blocking it. I haven't been able to find the exact problem yet.

Edit 2: I fixed the Daily Mail comments not showing in Firefox. These two were the culprits.

Delete the line from "My rules".
    Then "Save" and "Commit".

With Firefox and my Firefox settings, my add-ons, and my filter lists in uBlock Origin, the video plays without issues.
What browser do you use, which extensions, and which non-default filter lists in uBlock Origin?
Have you tried disabling non-default filter lists, other browser extensions, or all-too-strict browser settings?

    Thanks very much.
The release notes mention: "Replace EasyDutch with AdGuard Dutch"
I wonder why. I prefer EasyList over AdGuard.
The release notes link to this page: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/commit/ca7d2ad61d
Which refers to this related discussion: uBlockOrigin/uBlock-discussions#380
Strange enough, that page gives a 404, page not found.
Looking for the mentioned discussion, I cannot find github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-discussions, at all.
    Very odd.
Does anyone know where to find the mentioned discussion?
I found one post at Brave community that said "uBO replaced EasyDutch to AdGuard Dutch. EasyDutch was not updated for 4 months". That would be a rather good reason, I suppose.

    The discussion seems deleted.
I think it is because I mentioned the stale EasyDutch repo on Reddit. :D

    Thanks, nicolaasjan.
Yeah, I noticed the 'State of this repo' post regarding EasyDutch.
Odd that EasyDutch is not updated since last January. So, I understand uBlock Origin replaces EasyDutch with AdGuard Dutch.
It's also odd the uBlock Origin discussion seems to be deleted. I guess there was some reason for that.

    This is weird.
In uBO 1.57.3rc1 (dev build), the name has changed, but the content is still from EasyDutch.

    That is weird, indeed.
Is AdGuard Dutch offered in 'Regions, languages' filter list options, in uBO 1.57.3rc1? (Not in uBO 1.57.2)
If AdGuard Dutch is offered, but EasyDutch is not correctly replaced, would back up, reset, and restore help?
If resetting doesn't help, but AdGuard Dutch is offered, I guess disabling and re-enabling AdGuard Dutch would be next to try.

    Yes (my screenshot disappeared somehow).
I don't want to reset, because then I will loose my 1.333 million blocked items. :D
    Disabling and re-enabling did nothing.

I will wait till it is updated to 1.58 dev build.

In the meantime I added to Custom:
    Code:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/FiltersRegistry/master/filters/filter_8_Dutch/filter.txt

You can first back up, then reset, and next restore from your backup. That way all custom settings, filters, and rules are restored.
I used that method to resolve an issue, earlier. No idea if it may help in this case.

Yes, but doesn't that also reset the count to zero in here:

Ah, so that was what you meant.
I don't think that count was reset, when I used reset & restore, a couple of months ago. I see my block count is still 3.351M. :D

    1. Firefox
    2. Only ublock origin with default settings for testing the page
3 With firefox in Strict Protection and uBlock disabled is the only way to view the video
    4. Manage to play it after many greenlight scripts and disable cosmetic filtering but its really hard to accomplish and "sacrifice" a lot.

    That is really odd.
I have no idea why the video at How-To Geek is blocked with your default uBlock Origin settings.
As I mentioned, with my filter lists in uBlock Origin, the video plays without issues. That's with default filter lists plus several added. It doesn't seem to make sense that on your system you need to disable uBlock Origin.
Perhaps someone else has an idea or suggestion about what to look for.
