Microsoft Edge (Stable) Version 124.0.2478.67 Release date: April 26, 2024 Release notes for Microsoft Edge Stable Channel: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/d...able-channel#version-1240247867-april-26-2024 ----------- Download and configure Microsoft Edge for Business https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download
@TairikuOkami I read your problem on MT. For cookies impossible to remove check and remove the sites permissions. You don't need the Cookie AutoDelete extension (because it doesn't work 100%) I put a (almost) a button in the bar (hiding the writing). It occasionally allows me to remove persistent cookies present after closing the browser.
OK. But upon exiting the browser almost all cookies are deleted, and any that are not deleted are deleted by manual cleanup. I use the feature that clears cookies on exit. P.S. I did a test with the 2 cookies that in your Edge are not deleted. In my Edge they are deleted on exit (no manual cleanup required either).
If only they could be exported. I am not adding 100 cookies exceptions, just to re-add them a week later, because Windows decides to do a repair install and reset everything. It happened 4 or 5 times this year alone.
Microsoft Edge (Stable) Version 124.0.2478.80 Release date: May 2, 2024 Release notes for Microsoft Edge Stable Channel: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/d...-stable-channel#version-1240247880-may-2-2024 ----------- Download and configure Microsoft Edge for Business https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download
As of early 03-May-2024, it's possible the 124.0.2478.80 macOS version is not quite ready. The current version may still be 124.0.2478.67 for macOS. EDIT: The 124.0.2478.80 for macOS update was made available earlier today.
OK, I enabled the cleanup and added exceptions via a policy and it seems to work now. If it was indeed a bug, I still better clean cookies twice or thrice, just to be sure.
There are cookies from some more hostile websites that can survive browser closure. If you want to do some testing the BrowserLeaks website (probably depends on the tests you run) is often, but not always, in these conditions. I as I already wrote you added to the favorites bar "edge://settings/siteData" without name only icon. So when I open the browser I can quickly check if any cookies have survived and then proceed to its eventual deletion.
Probably many W. members have realized from various pop-ups like this that microsoft has removed in Edge the flag: Code: Show feature and workflow recommendations The only solution to attempt to remedy the above is to insert a new policy: Code: SpotlightExperiencesAndRecommendationsEnabled - false Today I entered the new policy,I hope it works.

BTW, I noticed something weird today in Edge. And that is that it refuses to install any new extensions until I update this piece of garbage. Shame on M$!
https://i.postimg.cc/fRQFD3rK/1.jpg Annoying Pop-Up Window related to the use of Edge on a Mobile Device! Dear Microsoft, please, get rid of it!!!
Oh...oh...a Hamletic doubt arises in me. I replaced the policy written above with this: Code: "ShowRecommendationsEnabled" set to false https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-policies#showrecommendationsenabled

v.125.0.2535.51 also shows the Annoying Pop-Up Window related to the use of Edge on a Mobile Device! https://i.postimg.cc/PrVHgGDQ/4.jpg Makes me wonder When/If they decide to Remove it...
If you have not entered the policy I wrote above you will always see the pop-up even in future versions of Edge.
How or where do you create this policy? All this nagging is part of what's had me switch to other browsers.
@Bertazzoni This policy: I use: Code: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge] Code: false = 0 then leave the value of the key at default.
