Hello everyone! I'm currently facing an issue with restoring my backup using Ashampoo Backup Pro 17. I've been trying to get in touch with their support for the past two weeks by sending multiple emails, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but while I find the backup process itself quite easy and straightforward. However, when it comes to restoring the backup, I'm facing some difficulties.

I've attached a screenshot for reference. It seems that Ashampoo recognizes my backup, but I'm confused about the backup source and destination selection. Only the C drive (my computer's internal drive) is listed as the backup source, which doesn't make sense to me since I want to restore from an external drive.

When I tried dragging the backup to the destination, it prompted me to create a rescue disk. I followed the instructions and created one using an external USB drive. However, when it finish creating rescue disk, then it returned to the Ashampoo backup homepage, I found myself stuck in a never-ending loop.

I'm reaching out to in the hope that someone can guide me on how to properly restore my backup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!"

Here's the screenshoots, or if it won't shown here, I also attached the linnk

    Hantu,

Do you have a UEFI or MBR system?

Can you boot into the Ashampoo rescue recovery environment from your USB flash drive?

What is the reason for attempting a restore?
