    My score is 99%.
    Even with Opera Android.
    It is sufficient.

BTW, I've seen a couple of adblocker tests being mentioned in this thread, and you guys weren't actually impressed. What do you guys think of this one? I got 96 out of 100 points, but I'm not exactly sure which test I didn't pass.

    I've got 100 points. :)
But I take these kind of tests with a grain of salt, because they can't possibly cover everything.

    96 for me too on Edge+uBO. 100 on Edge+AdGuard extension. 100 on Firefox+uBO.
uBO redirects some ad and tracker-related scripts to local resources to fool websites into thinking their script was not blocked. It's an anti-adblocking mechanism used by uBO. Check uBO logs to learn which scripts were redirected.

All of a sudden I now also get a 100% score. Actually, I see that after refresh I get a 96% score, not that I really care much about these tests though.

OK thanks, good to know, sounds cool.

I got 94, then unchecked "Ignore generic cosmetic filters" and got 100.

That setting is always disabled on my system.

Perhaps proof that uBlock works better on Firefox, who knows.

I just checked that setting in a new profile fresh install of uBlock Origin, that setting "Ignore generic cosmetic filters" is unchecked by default, I must have set it on in the past for some unknown reason.

These are 4th and 5th filters suggested by the element picker.
Could you try one of these?
    They seem to work fine.

Thanks, that did the trick. :thumb:

I don't know what happened but the element picker couldn't get rid of it, I kept having to make the same rules, but it was still partially visible.

The element picker has a preview option. Using the preview option, you can try the offered filters one by one.
That way, you can see that the offered network filter and also the first two offered cosmetic filters leave a remnant. The next filters do not.
I hope the filter you picked doesn't have any side effects, doesn't hide any other elements. I was in a hurry and did not have time to double-check.

'Let's Block It!' says it can be an addition to uBlock Origin as filter sets.
Some filter lists are mentioned in this thread. I can imagine there could be room for a few posts with options regarding 'Let's Block It!' However, if there is more interest, a dedicated thread may be way better.

I took a look at the filter templates that are offered.
    https://letsblock.it/filters
I think I don't need them. The regular filter lists plus my own filter rules are sufficient.
As an example: the Fandom wiki pages template, I think I don't need it. I created one filter rule, fandom.com###WikiaBar, and that is enough for me.
However, I could imagine others may find it handy to copy some of the 'Let's Block It!' filter templates.

    Trustworthiness may be a question.
If you trust regular uBlock Origin filter lists, would you trust the filters in the 'Let's Block It!' templates?
I would rather create my own filters for some websites than use 'Let's Block It!' templates.

OK, thanks for the tip. Sometimes the element picker really doesn't work. When you try to block stuff, it just reloads the element you want to block. And I'm not seeing any side effects, everything works just fine. But the element picker is a life saver, hopefully Gorhill will bring it back in uBlock Lite, it should be possible from a technical point of view.

I never had that experience using uBlock Origin element picker on Firefox. Perhaps it's different on Vivaldi or other Chromium browsers.
    Ah, that's good.

Some of the rules entered in my filters seem to eliminate certain types of fingerprints.
This rule for example seems to eliminate font fingerprinting:

    Code:
    *fonts.js
    https://browserleaks.com/fonts

But it doesn't actually seem to work.
