    Great! Thanks Andreas.

Blocked by Smart Screen, but bypassed and installed fine.

Confirmed.:thumb: I enabled the three new PDF XChange rules, applied them, then restarted my PC. I am still able to open PDFs, either on my desktop or as attachments in emails. Thank you very much.:)

Yes, this would make things a bit clearer and easier to understand what these rules do.

    @Buddel and //Everyone

Have re-uploaded just now the setup file of SysHardener, two small fixes:

    1) Renamed the 2 rules with "from PDF":

"PDF-XChange - Disable Opening of Attachments from PDF"
"PDF-XChange - Disable Opening of Files from PDF"

Another user asked the same question so now should be more clear.

    2) Fixed the PDF-XChange options (there was a small issue when applying two of them)

So just re-download SysHardener, install over-the-top, close PDF-XChange (if it is open), then re-apply these PDF-XChange tweaks.

I re-tested them and PDF-XChange can open PDF files without issues after the 3 options have been applied.

For a quick test, just open PDF-XChange and click File -> Preferences -> Javascript and this option should be unchecked:

    We have released SysHardener v2.9.0:
    https://www.syshardener.com/download/

    Here is the changelog:

You can install it "over-the-top" of the installed version, reboot is not needed.

The option "Enable Svchost.exe Mitigation Options" was creating incompatibilities with some third-party software so we have removed it entirely.

Thanks for the update. Svchost.exe mitigation options have never created any incompatibilities here, but this is just me. I was just lucky, I guess. Anyway, I installed v2.9.0 "over the top". Reboot was not required, but I had to reinstall the NVT License Manager. Not a big thing, but this hasn't happened before. Anyway, the latest version seems to work flawlessly here.:)

    Another feature request:

Is it possible to add, "Uninstall Windows Copilot"?

    Thanks.
